| Downtown 300 Block Condo Groundbreaking |

The Cumberland County Business Council hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the “300 block” project in downtown Fayetteville. The project is a $13 million, mixed-use development divided into three phases consisting of a three-four story building on Hay street with retail condominiums on the first floor and 24 residential condominiums on the upper floors, 10 3-level town homes along Ray Avenue, and a 8, 3-level town homes perpendicular to Franklin Street.
The project stems from a community effort “Renaissance Plan” approved in 2002 that was adopted to revitalize Fayetteville’s depressed downtown market.
